Again, this is 2nd post on my training, along with diet change and the changes in my lifestyle. Everything as advised by my teacher.
Daily diet plan
- 3 pieces of boiled soya chunks
- 2 pieces of pistachios
- 2 almonds soked in night to be eaten in morning
- 1 boiled potato
- 200-250 ml of warm milk before going to bed
- No canned/packed cheese and butter. They contain lots of chemicals, artificial flavors and preservatives. Eat homemade butter. Better replacement is ghee
- Quit eating noodles as thats maida flour which is very bad for body.
Thigh-Kicks:
- If I focus on numbers of kicks (quantity) then I can do 130 kicks in 40 minutes. If I focus on fundamentally correct kicks (quality) then I do 130 kicks in 90 minutes. Fundamentally correct kicks are heavier and take lot of focus, energy and time.
- Each set contains 10 kicks in each direction – east, west, north and south. After 30 kicks, next one set or two sets of kicks feel very light and very incorrect. It happened 2 times. 3-4 sets feel quite correct and very powerful, 3-4 sets are average in quality and 2 sets were totally incorrect and boring.
March 6: My teacher, Pavan Kumar Sharma, told me thigh kick is coming correct. I am happy, best thing is that I am not hitting a thigh-attack in a particluar style/direction to hit. I learned the way/method of attacking from him and my thigh is hitting in that method/angle/way automatically, I don’t have to remeber the method anymore. Now the other old thigh atatck, which my teacher did not teach me, which I learned from movies, which used to feel so natural, now no longer feels natural, in fact it feels like against my body mechanics.
March 11: As per CTFS: Anger is next to Danger. Put D in front of ANGER and it becomes (D)ANGER. I am not only able to identify my anger but also able to visualize myself taking control of it.
March 12: Shaolin temple, Shaolin monks no longer feel unbeatable. Now every master who has mastered a Martial-Art to the level of genius whether he is Japanese, A Shaolin Monk or China Di master, all of them seem same to me. In fact, all Martial-Arts feel like different experessions of different kinds of people. What is my expression ?
March 17: Watched lot of Martial-Arts videos. Now Tony Jaa’s Muay-Boran vs Capoeira does not feel like out of the world non-existent fight. I can see (analytically) the fight.
March 19: Practiced 200 thigh-kicks and I am still standing, not much tired. Training has gone from quantity to quality. Reason may be that I don’t have much confusion in mind, not many doubts anymore. I feel clear and refined.
March 26: A new kind of common-sense has started to work. Its more basic and simpler than current level of thinking. Regarding training, if you practice once in 4 days then you loose your stamina that you built up after one month of training.
March 31: If you focus on elbow attacks while practicing, they will tell you when they are wrong. Keeping focus on attack, posture and angle will make you understand elbow attack and its collaboration with body movements, Loose the focus and you will loose all the improvement and a real Martial-Artsist’s personality.
